automatically ordering playlists - help!

In iTunes, I made a playlist with a specific ordering that I want preserved. But when I click "sync", I can see my iPod (shuffle) syncing, and there appears a new item under the Devices>iPod icon called "Music". This music item has all of the songs from my playlist, but they are automatically put into alphabetical order, and I am extremely frustrated trying to figure out how to keep the ordering of my playlists. Any ideas? Thank you.

Playlists show up in iPods in alphabetical order by artist I think, despite the order in iTunes. So in iTunes you would go to the playlist, right click and then pick the option to "Copy to Playorder" which won't appear to do anything in iTunes, but will cause the playlist to show in the same order on the iPod as it does in iTunes. You won't "see" the playlist order on a shuffle, but that would be my first suggestion to see if that fixes it.
"Copy to Playorder" on your iTunes playlist, then resync the shuffle.

Hi, I know how to get songs

Hi,
I know how to get songs in the right order, but my problem is that my playlists albums) won't appear in right order on Itunes. The playlists I've created myself won't mix with the cd's I downloaded directly. I can't drag them to the right spot. How can I fix this?
